Shifting the Atmosphere (Album Version)
Jason Nelson (Shifting the Atmosphere [+digital booklet])

Under the vision and leadership of Pastor Dennis R. Everett, Sr., a bible study group was founded on January 21, 2011, in the home of Rofunda Ross. Bible study was held every Wednesday in various homes.  This body of believers saw a need and made plans for the organization of a church and house of worship.

The current edifice, at 3106 Hwy 44, was purchased in April 2011.  The first service was held during Memorial Day weekend on May 29, 2011.  Sunday School was held every Sunday and Worship service was held once a month on the third Sunday evening.

The first baptism was conducted on October 16, 2011, with three candidates.  The grand entrance service was celebrated with the Lake Bethlehem Baptist Church of Shreveport,  LA on November 20, 2011.

Under the leadship of the founder, Pastor Dennis Everett, the first pastor was called-- Pastor A. Jamell Simon.  Pastor Simon first Sunday as Pastor of the Rock Community Bible Church  was January 8, 2012, which marked the beginning of the church going fulltime in ministry.  Many ministries were birthed for men, women, and youth.

Our founder, Pastor Dennis Everett,  named Pastor Derick "DT" Thomas as the second pastor of the Rock Community Bible Church in March 2015. The first service Pastor DT Thomas rendered as pastor was April 5, 2015, Easter (Resurrection) Sunday.
